Throughout the season we will continue to following the advice of the Ministry of Health, Netball New Zealand and Netball Wellington Centre, with regard to managing COVID-19.  We will share all information from Netball Wellington, Central Zone and/or NNZ whenever relevant.

We are currently in Alert Level 1 therefore normal protocol will apply.

However, should we go into Alert Level 2, please take note of the following requirements that will apply to remaining trials.

Trials will take place if we are in Alert Level 2.  The following requirements are in place:

  • Trials will start and finish on time and you must leave the Centre immediately after the last trial.
  • No spectators are allowed.
  • Scan your QR code on arrival to ASB to assist with contact tracing, and you can only enter via the main doors.
  • Register with the SMOG team on the courts to assist us with contact tracing.
  • Please arrive in your gear ready to go as the changing facilities will be closed.
  • Please bring a bag that can keep your gear tidy and off the chairs/floor.
  • Do not bring your own netballs.
  • You need to bring enough water for yourself as the drinking fountains will not be available.
  • The ASB Sports Centre underground carpark will be closed.
  • Maintain your physical distancing of at least 1m when not on court, and consider wearing a mask between trial quarters.
  • Cough/sneeze into your elbow, and wash hands regularly.
  • Sanitise before taking the court and after coming off.
  • SMOG will have wipes available for balls and sanitiser pumps as well but you should bring your own if possible.
  • Bring your own sweat towel please.

If you are unwell or have travelled to Auckland in the past 14 days:

  • Do not attend trials.
  • Contact Healthline and follow their advice.
  • Email the Club and let us know your situation.  We'll work with to find alternative arrangements.
