about the club
St Marys Old Girls (SMOG) Netball Club is an incorporated, non-profit club with a focus on being the best netball club in Wellington. SMOG aim to provide a supportive and fun environment for enthusiastic netball players of all standards. SMOG have a focus on teams selected through trials and pride ourselves on running an effective and efficient club, supported by both a committee and a board.
SMOG teams train at either ASB Sports Centre or the Hataitai courts. SMOG seek to provide coaches for all teams, and provide a supportive environment for coaches to improve their skills and netball knowledge. The SMOG club proudly promotes our club nights, which give all Smoggies a chance to mix and mingle over a drink, and are associated with the Marists St Pats rugby club.
Want to be involved?
The club is always keen for an extra set of hands to help out, whether it be with coaching, planning and running social events, or helping with fundraising. If you are keen to get involved with SMOG, please email us on smognetball@gmail.com or look for committee members at club drinks.
SMOG EXECUTIVE
The SMOG Executive is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the club and is responsible for developing the strategies, policies and procedures for the effective running and development of the club. They are also responsbile for ensuring the financial viability of the club.
