COACHING AT SMOG

SMOG are always delighted to support people who are keen to coach netball. There are benefits, which include:-

• No fees payable if you are coaching by yourself, or if you co-coach you only pay half fees;
• SMOG will offer and pay for NNZ coaching courses (if you wish to attend);
• A free meal with other SMOG coaches to meet and share experiences;
• Support from the Board and Committee;

It is very rewarding to watch your team develop because of the work that you have put in, and you get to know more people in SMOG. We are willing to work with you to ensure that training nights fit in with you - some people don't mind having netball twice a week, but others prefer to do netball one night a week. Also, we won't expect you to coach at a level that you aren't confident about. It really is up to you!

You won't be left stranded either, if there is something that you are struggling with, you will have support from other coaches.
