2022 TRIALS INFORMATION

PLEASE NOTE THAT SMOG TRIAL DATES HAVE CHANGED DUE TO COVID-19 DISRUPTION

Two trial sessions will be held for each Premier and Prem Reserve grade.  Players are highly encouraged to attend both trials to ensure you have the best chance to be seen by selectors and coaches.

All trials are held at the ASB Sports Centre (72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie). ASB Sports Centre requires a COVID-19 vaccine pass in order to enter the facility. Therefore, all trialists and players for SMOG must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be eligible to play.

Group warm-up will be held at the start so please be on time.  We ask that you please make yourself known when you arrive at the courts so your name can be ticked off as being ‘present’ at the trials and we can placed into the trial teams.

Trials run for 2 hours in a typical game format.

Seniors will have one trial, on a Saturday morning for 2 hours, also game play.

Registrations are open and will close the Wednesday prior to each trial.

Once registered you must attend both trials unless you confirm with us otherwise. The trial fee is $20 and is part of your fees for 2022. Please note this is non-refundable even if you trial but choose not to play for SMOG in 2022.

Bank Account:

St Mary's Old Girls' Netball Bank:  ANZ 06-0545-0365691-00

Reference: include Name and Team (in season)

When you complete your registration form, be sure to include your netball history so we can see which team you would fit best.  Otherwise please get in touch with us at smognetball@gmail.com and we can assist you.

If you are trialling for other clubs, that’s absolutely fine!  But please do kindly let us know at trials if you are doing this, as once we confirm our teams and name them on our SMOG Website, these team lists are then sent onto Netball Wellington Centre fairly quickly to be locked in as a registered player under the SMOG Netball Club for 2022.

If you are unable to trial because you are self-isolating in accordance with COVID-19 regulations, please email smognetball@gmail.com to discuss.
